Inflatable Pavilion

The economic advantage of inflatable buildings is almost self-explanatory:
fast construction, lightweight, easy transport, multi-use by liberty of location.
The tent is made completely of specially treated polyamid… and air.

The goal of this particular design was to disassociate itself from the common inflatable architecture and to find new means of stabilisation.

The attractive appearance emphasizes the character of festivity which makes it perfect for fairs and promotional events.

The stability of the construction is achieved through the sinus-curve shape of the sidewalls.

Numerous mock-ups of bent polystyrene, folded paper and inflated freezer bags led to the pavilion’s distinctive and functional shape.

A functional model proved the remarkable stability of the structure.
