Zanussi Refrigerators, Electrolux

A series of premium freestanding appliances aimed at users looking
for individuality and high-end features. The products were designed for
the Italian market under the Zanussi brand. Main goal was the development
of recognizable signature elements to strengthen the brand appearance
of the product family.

Multi-part handles and formed door endings with chrome trims are some of the main design elements building the design-DNA of this range.

An overview of the range consisting of two 60cm and one 70cm wide appliances.

Extensive effort was put into the development of the handles for this range. Handles have a decisive influence on the choice of the consumer.

Chrome rods (instead of plastic frames) give the shelves a sleek and architectural appearance.

The handles of the 70cm model are generously proportioned and chromed die-cast.

Predecessor and prototype: Quick foam models are a great way to check on aesthetics and above all, ergonomics.
